    John Nicoletti presented to the Evergreen Rotary Club at their Breakfast meeting. The Club donated 60 doses of Polio vaccination in John's name to help eradicate polio around the world. Donating vaccinations is one of the many initiatives and services the Evergreen Rotary Club is involved in locally and internationally in unity with the many other clubs worldwide that make up Rotary International.

This is a closed meeting, meaning it is for all active and retired law enforcement officers, from any agency, who have a desire to quit drinking. Additionally, on Sunday, October 7, 2015 the first Denver Badge2Badge meeting will take place. This is a 12-step recovery meeting open to all active and retired first responders who may be experiencing psychological distress, substance abuse, or other related issues.     Dr. Debra Tasci is working with the Denver Police Department on a preliminary study to measure to effectiveness of the "Sleep Easily" method developed by Richard Shane, Ph.D. This method is described as a simple medication-free, learn-at-home recorded method that gives you a way to fall asleep and back to sleep more quickly and easily, and to sleep more deeply-even in the midst of stress. The study involves United Airlines pilots, members of the Denver Police Department, Boulder Fire Department, veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and members of the general public representing various races and age demographics.
